Almost P1 million was already received by Gov. Celestino Gallares Regional
Hospital as refund for Philhealth beneficiaries who underwent cataract
surgeries.
Human Rights Karapatan has criticized the Phil. Army recruiting even
minors and women to join the organized barangay defense system in the
towns.
One of the cataract patient says he is thankful for reports of Francisca
Baluyot for conducting the cataract operation but was only surprised why
they were given refund of their operations since it was supposed to be
free.
There are only 4 ktv bars which have permits to operate in the city, says
Kag. Edi Borja, Chair of the Committee on Health who intended to inspect
ktv bars in the city.
Bohol is not included in the provinces that are being investigated by
Philhealth on alleged fraud.
