My heart goes to the Co Family and their survivors, this is truly a tragic event. I am still overwhealmed over the loss of inocent lives.
Ang sakit sa Syudad nga ga auminto is Traffic ug kung ang future momentum sa syudad is a more Populous Bohol, magka-grabe gyud ang Traffic.
Kinadaghanan nga factors ngano ang traffic gapabilin but these are 3 solutions nga obvious; driver education, strong efficient enforcement through LTO and Judicial means ug Upgraded Equipment sa syudad.
Enforcement should include but not limited to Fines, Driver Education Courses, Suspension of Licenses, Suspension of Trycicle, Logistics Truck and Private Vehicle Registrations with no special treatment to LGU workers and other personalities.
Fines collected can be used directly to upgrade and increase the much needed Traffic Enforcers w/ Guns and Uniform with Visible Authority, Traffic Lights, Road Signs and Partition Lines, Pedestrian Cross Walks, Pedestrian Walk Ways, Traffic Cameras, Road/Street Lights and their maintenance.
*PUBLIC BLAMES SELECTIVE IMPLEMENTATION OF TRAFFIC RULES AND LACK OF DISCIPLINE ON THE PART OF MOTORISTS FOR THE TRAFFIC CONGESTION IN CITY STREETS*
This indefinitely the real score. Implementation shall be to the letter. Even those trafficking Enforcers can’t apprehend tricycles making a U-Turn in front of them. Vehicles coming out from perpendicular street just stop at the middle of the road blocking the Thorough street right of way. I think the LTO had failed to examine these drivers before they are issued Licenses. I dare the City Traffick and LTO officers to see it themselves.
